As a local business owner myself I cannot emphasize enough how much it has contributed to both my business and family life.

This is a practice that needs to be encouraged more and more as the many benefits of such activities are priceless, also benefiting the local community and networking with other local businesses.

All campers even looked upset and not happy.

The rope was on the ground for the hanging section so was pointless same as the ment to be floating wood and string obstacle had also moved down so on the ground and pointless. Have photos to prove all of this too.

Most everyone at the event (both participating and volunteering) had no complaints and only good things to say about the Murrenbong Scout Campsite.

Getting back to nature is the best way to bring out the best out in everyone, we often forget what's it's like to be immersed in a totally natural habitat, the beauty of nature and the immediate relaxation is priceless.

The Taurus 200 event held there also went pretty well; there were quite a number of people there, especially on the last day, everything was set up well and the vibe was pretty good. I hope to return there for Taurus 200 2018 :D

The Scouts allow many sporting groups, local businesses and other recreational associations the use of this land, which is awesome as it is important to attract more people in outdoor activities especially young people.

Nestled in the Northside of Brisbane this hidden gem is fantastic for camping with well appointed campsites facilities and scouts dorms available for hire.

We told them we NEVER WANTED to do this race again as over priced basically a trail walk/run. Lied about 30+ obstacles in email sent and actually one of the guys who set up for taurus came and abused us when trying to leave!

The Murrenbong is the perfect place also geographically well positioned, not far from the city or the highway easy to reach within the Brisbane area.

Only person who was nice was the photographer who agreed water was disgusting and she wouldn't want to have diarrhea so wouldn't touch it!! Photo in comments of health hazard water! (Other ocr races bring in filtered water tanks or filtered water trailers)

When signing waivers the lady owner insulted my friend for not writing neatly even tho it was neat & able to be read and in caps as document asked.

STAY CLEAR unless you're wanting to pay $170 for a trail walk/run

Advertised 20km laps and was only 14.8km (map in photos) that's false advertising and made our race 1hour shorter then expected.

Heard of the big event Taurus 200 happening there so I went to check it out and WOW!! SO many people and SO many things going on. And the race? OMG it looked so hard D:

I had a few friends doing the race and buy some merch. They're motivating me to train for next year so I can get one of their pretty medals :D Highly recommend, 5/5 stars

How can you say 100km or 200km endurance when 200km is only 160 with the 5km short times X10laps. That's lying and FRAUD!!

1 obstacle wood broke under my 60kg weight (lightest person at race) as cheap wood not built correctly so nearly injured on that which photographer saw.

I've been here a few times, mostly for the Taurus 200 preparation and event itself, and this land was excellent; good facilities, clean water, well-kept land, protected. I went for a long walk on the land and I thought it was great, found a few pit stop areas for people to sit and have a break.

In some areas the forest thickens and looks almost magical, the trails are many to chose from and the terrain and constant change in elevation makes it both challenging and fun.
